Universal acquired employees, equipment, marketing materials, phone numbers, existing customer files and the name to be used as a "doing business as" (dba). As part of the agreement, the original Sunset Environmental Corporation was dissolved and no longer exists. The Sunset name now operates under Universal's CCB number. Universal or it's insurance carriers cannot warrant any Sunset work performed by the original Sunset Corporation. However, the previous Sunset owners have agreed to address issues, should they occur on jobs performed up to 10 years ago. Universal will maintain Sunset files for up to 10 years. Universal Applicators, Inc. has performed Tank & Environmental work since 1985. If you have not used Universal before, we think you will be pleasantly surprised with the service, prices and expertise. Keep in mind that unlike the former Sunset Company, we are not affiliated with an Oil Dealer so you can be assured that your interest, not an Oil Company's interest will be our concern.
